Eunice P. Nichols

AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME Waterbury ?" Eunice P. (Waldo) Nichols, age 78, of Gates Ave. Waterbury, died early Wednesday morning at St Mary's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Ronald Nichols.

Eunice was born January 23, 1931 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Henry and Mable (Lockshire) Waldo. Eunice was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and was a graduate of Leavenworth High School in Waterbury. She was a parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Church. She enjoyed gardening and camping with her family. Eunice was a loving wife and mother, dedicating her life as a loving wife and mother to a very grateful husband and family.

Besides her husband of 59 years, Eunice leaves her daughter, Linda Baker of Waterbury, her son Ronald David Nichols of Waterbury, her 4 devoted grandchildren, Tyra, Kristin, Ronald, Joseph "JJ" and her great grandson Carson. Mrs. Nichols was pre-deceased by her brother Irving Waldo.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nichols will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home, 1581 East Main St. Waterbury. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00pm- 7:00pm. Memorial donations in Mrs. Nichols memory may be made to Bennington Moose Lodge, 916 Main St. Bennington VT 05201
