Loving Mother, Wife, and Grandmother
PROSPECT - Evelyn Korzynski, age 82, of Prospect, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love and comfort of her family, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Eugene P. Korzynski.
Evelyn was born February 10, 1941, in New Castle, Canada, the daughter of the late Thoams and Mary (Ginnish) Sanifas. At the age of 16, Evelyn moved to Waterbury, where she joined her sisters who had previously immigrated there. Evelyn was a loving and dedicated homemaker and enjoyed line dancing and listening to music. However, the most important thing to Evelyn was her family, she was always happiest while spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known and loved her.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory, beside her husband of over 40 years, Eugene, she leaves her sons; John Robert Moscariello of Carolina Beach, NC, and Ronald Thomas Moscariello of Prospect, her seven grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was the last surviving child of 13 siblings and is also predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Lavertue and daughter-in-law, Jeanne Brown Moscariello .
Funeral services for Mrs. Korzynski will be held privately at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours.
