WATERBURY - Fernand A. Cote, age 84 of Waterbury passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at St Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the widower of Dorothy (Morin) Cote.
Mr. Cote was born on July 31, 1934 in Waterbury the son of the late Armand and Bibiane (LaPierrere) Cote. He was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and was educated in local schools, graduating from Crosby High School. He worked as an electrical estimator for many years His favorite activity was singing in the CT Yankee Chorus a renown Barbershop Quartet. Fernand was talented in many ways, devoted to his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Fernand is survived by his son, Byl Cote of Greenwich, his three grandchildren, Zachary, Brittney and Barrett and his sisters, Claudette Doyle of Wolcott and Rolande Duphiney. He also leaves his former wife, Charron Jette. Besides his deceased wife, he was predeceased by his sons, David and Mark, his brothers, Roger and Larry Cote.

Funeral Services for Mr. Cote will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St Francis Xavier Church 625 Baldwin St Waterbury CT. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
