WATERBURY - Fernando Polanco Jr., age 47 of Waterbury, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was the son of Leyda (Quinones) Polanco and Fernando Polanco Sr.
Mr. Polanco was born on June 8, 1972 in Waterbury CT. He was educated in local schools and was schooled as a plumber but was employed as a machine operator for many years. Fernando was a devoted son, father, brother and friend. He enjoyed playing and watching sports and he especially loved the Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys, his two favorite sports teams. He loved to spend time with his friends playing golf at local clubs. Fernando enjoyed all types of music, ranging from traditional spanish music to Guns & Roses. His greatest joy was being a father to his adoring children who were the focus of his life. He made the world a better place for all of us, and we are blessed and thankful to have had him in our lives.
Left to remember, cherish and honor Fernando's love and legacy besides his parents are, his four daughters, Vanessa, Corolina, Erica and Elyssa Polanco, one son, three brothers, Ariel Polanco, Edward Ramos and Raymond Ramos, one sister, Lizette Polanco, two grandchildren, Julian Gonzalez and Mia Myers, several nieces and nephews as well as countless friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Polanco will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 12:00p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.
