AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, WATERBURY Florence Barquero Daddona, age 77, of Waterbury, died Sunday August 23rd at the CT Hospice, Branford after an extended illness. She was the wife of Francis Daddona.

Florence was born December 21st 1931 in Quintana Laserena, Spain, the daughter of the late Francisco and Scgunda (Galan) Barquero. She moved to the United States in 1957 and worked as a machine operator at Mattatuck Manufacturing for over 25 years until her retirement. She was a dedicated parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Church and was a devoted grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Besides her husband of 50 years, Florence is survived by her son, David Daddona of East Hartford, and daughter Marion Szarzynski of Naugatuck, two brothers, Pedro and Luriano Barquero of Spain, a sister Antonia Barquero Davila of Spain, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her two brothers Vincente and Victorino Barquero.

Funeral services for Mrs. Daddona will held Wednesday, August 26th at 10:00 from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St Waterbury to Saints Peter & Paul church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30a.m. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
