WATERBURY- Mr. Francis "Frank" W. Porter age 81 of Windy Dr. Waterbury passed away peacefully at The Vitas Innovative Care Unit of Saint Mary's Hospital, on Sunday December 8, 2013 surrounded by his family after an extended illness. He was the husband of Theresa (Santucci) Porter.
Frank was born May 11, 1932 in Watertown, CT the son of the late Frank W. and Josephine (Infascia) Porter. He spent many years working as a Tool & Die Maker for Carbide Mold and enjoyed fishing, gardening, bowling, and carpentry and was a member of the former Scovill, Rod & Gun Club.
Besides his wife Theresa of 58 years, Frank is survived by his children, Brenda Jean McGrath and her husband John of Bethlehem, CT. Teresa (Porter) D'Aversa and her husband David of Southwick, MA. and Frank C. Porter and his wife Dawn of Plymouth, CT. He also leaves his brother George Porter and his wife Hilda of Wolcott, his grandson William Campion III as well as many nieces and nephews including his niece, Annette Rinaldi and her husband Joseph of Waterbury. He was predeceased by his brothers Roger and Andrew Porter.
Funeral Services for Mr. Porter will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
