WATERBURY - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francisco Mattie, beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Francisco was born on November 19, 1979, and tragically left us on February 24, 2024. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Francisco was a hard worker throughout his life, always determined to provide for his family. He had a passion for dirt bikes and quads, finding joy in the thrill of the open road and the freedom they brought. Francisco had a huge heart and a deep love for animals, often seen caring for and rescuing those in need. His kindness and compassion touched the lives of many. The loss of Francisco leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will live on as a testament to his resilience, dedication, and love for his family and friends. We will forever cherish the moments shared and the impact he made on our lives.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Rose and Tony Pereira, his sons Devin and Nicholus Mattie, his two grandmothers Marie D’Alesio and Caridad Pereira, several Aunts & Uncles, and his two adoring grandchildren, Sierra Rose and Sarina Rose Mattie. Francisco also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Rest in peace, Francisco. You will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives you touched.
