WATERBURY – Francisco Mercado, age 75, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on February 20th, 2024, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury.
Francisco was born August 30th, 1948, in Lares, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Francisco Mercado and Isolina Gonzalez. Francisco worked as a machine operator in the manufacturing industry throughout the Waterbury area. Francisco enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his children, siblings, grandchildren, as well as other extended family members and many friends.
A memorial gathering for Mr. Mercado will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with a prayer service held at 7:00 pm at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705.
