THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF FRANCISCO PABEY
WOLCOTT - Francisco Pabey Jr. age 83 of Wolcott, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Bristol Hospital. He was the husband of the late Hilda (Matos) Pabey.
Francisco was born May 30, 1936 in Ponce PR, a son of the late Francisco and Emilia (Soto) Pabey.
"Frank" moved to Penuelas from CT with Hilda in 1986 to care for their parents and enjoy the home they spent building for several years. He retired from Whyco Manufacturing in 1973.
Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy are his sons, Robert and his wife, LouAnn Pabey of Waterbury, Nelson and his wife, Ann (Farrell) Pabey of Wolcott, with whom he made his home with since 2008. He also leaves his grandchildren, Megan , Army SPC Andrew and Tyler Pabey, all of Wolcott, his brothers, Louis (and his wife Patricia) of Florida, Jaime of Naugatuck , and Alejandro of PR, and sisters, America Lopez (and her husband Domingo) of Ponce PR , Teresa Pabey of Texas, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Raquel Crespo and her husband, Hector , and a brother, Gilberto Pabey.
Franks family would like to thank the staff at the Pines of Bristol, especially the 1st floor staff for the awesome love and care they shared with him this past year and for always treating him like family. A special thank you to Ann's family for always caring for him and making him one of their own, especially Peggy and Jolene for being there for him always. And his brother, Jimmy and niece, Linda "Cookie" for always keeping him connected to family!
Funeral services for Mr. Pabey will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception 74 West Main St Waterbury. Military honors will be accorded following the Mass. Burial in his homeland of Penuelas PR, next to his beloved wife, Hilda.
