THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF FRANCISCO PEZO

WATERBURY - Francisco Pezo Panduro, age 90 of Waterbury, passed away on January 2nd, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Julia S. Pezo, age 91 for over 68 years.

Mr. Pezo was born on August 2, 1930 in Iquitos, Peru. Francisco was a co-founder of Peruvian Scout Association in Chiclayo, a city of northern Perú where he worked hard for the formation of children and youth for more than 20 years. He was a devoted person of faith in the Catholic Church where he was a leader at St. John Maria Vianney Parish since its establishment in 1967 until he moved to the US. He was a family person who loved having gatherings with family and friends at home and outdoors in nature; enjoyed his hobby of fishing at rivers and the sea. He was a generous, compassionate, and hospitable person with a good sense of humor as well.
Mr. Pezo was a retired Accountant and Auditor from the SUNAT (equivalent to the IRS) for 30 years. After his retirement, he and his wife moved to the US in 1991. Francisco and Julia loved to travel and did so extensively.
He and his wife had 7 children: Francisco, María, Martha, Julia, José, Jorge ( ) and Florinda. Besides his wife Julia, he leaves behind Francisco Pezo Jr. and his wife Gloria, María Pezo, Martha and her husband Cluber Marín, Julia and her husband Walter Mendoza, José Pezo and his wife Marta, Bethsaida Quiles-Pezo daughter-in law, and Florinda and her husband Juan Monje. The family also consists of 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren who were a major part of his life and whom he enjoyed immensely. Extended family also includes in-laws, nephews and nieces.

Funeral services for Mr. Pezo will be held in private with the immediate family at a later date. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. All governmental restrictions related to the Covid 19 pandemic will be strictly enforced.
