Frederick "Frank" Trosky

WATERBURY - Fredrick Franklin "Frank" Trosky, age 66 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the West Haven Veteran's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Lynn Jamele.

Frank was born May 21st 1948 in Waterbury, the son of the late George B. and Rozelyn C. (Parker) Trosky. He was raised in the Thomaston area where he was educated in local schools before enlisting in the US Navy and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Frank was an accomplished painter and spent many years as a professional painter throughout the greater Waterbury area. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and fishing. He enjoyed getting together with friends to enjoy a few games of pool and darts but was always happiest while spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Besides his wife Lynn, Frank is survived by his children; Franklin Trosky, Ryan McCarthy, Raymond Trosky Iorio, Carol Jamele, and Carla Jamele all of Waterbury, his sisters; Janice Hayes, of Waterbury, Carol Rubinski of Oakville and Regina Rollo of Waterbury. He also leaves nine grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, close friends and extended family.

A Service of Remembrance for Mr. Trosky will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00am at Eastside Memorial, "A CASEY FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND TRIBUTE CENTER", 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston. Relatives and friends may visit with Frank's family on Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:00am until the time of the service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations to assist the family with funeral expenses can be made to Eastside Memorial Funeral Home.
