Fred enjoyed deep sea fishing and skiing and was a avid fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers (before they moved from NY) as well as the UCONN Women's basketball team. After retirement, Betty and Fred moved to Cape Cod and were active in the Church of Our Lady of the Cape Parish where they enjoyed meeting a new group of wonderful friends and neighbors and more recently he was a parishioner of Mary Mother of the Church and a long-time member of the American Legion

Left to honor and cherish Fred's love and legacy, besides his wife of 47 years, Betty are his many loving nieces and nephews especially, Robert Malesky and his wife, Michelle of West Virginia. Fred always looked forward to visits from the family especially when they visited him on the Cape. In addition, he is also survived by his sister in law, Theresa Zenni of Southbury. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Malesky and his wife, Irene.

The Malesky family would like to thank and acknowledge the staff and doctors at Vitas Hospice and Athena Health Care for all the loving and comforting support they provided to Fred and his family during his illness.
