BRISTOL- Gail L. (Bond) Woolfolk, age 72, of Bristol, formerly of Waterbury passed away Peacefully on Wednesday May 12th 2021 at Bristol Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after a brief illness.
Gail was born on May 31, 1948 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Shirley (Fenderson) Bond and the late Robert Bond. Gail was educated in Waterbury Schools and dedicated her life to helping other people. She worked as a nurse until her retirement and loved her family tremendously, Gail was always the family mediator. She enjoyed gardening, creating beautiful flower arrangements and making her signature "Black Angels" as well as fine art.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory, besides her mother, Shirley are her children; Melody and Jasmine Woolfolk, In addition, she also leaves her grandchildren; Jordan, Ashley, Thomas, Jovon, and Journey as well as her great grandchildren; Janelle, Malia. Justin and Carter.
Funeral Services for Mrs.Woolfolk will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St. Waterbury at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Gail's family on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. till the service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Despite reductions if COVID #19 precautions, we are all still very concerned about everyone's health and safety so masks and social distancing will be required so that you can be assured of a safe, orderly and comforting environment to express your support to the Woolfolk family.
