THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF GARY WEAVING.

WATERBURY - Gary A. Weaving passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 12, 2021 at
St Marys Hospital, having lost his battle with cancer and COVID-19 complications. He was
the husband of Donna Dostaler Weaving.

Gary was the son of the late John ("Sid") and Eleanor Weaving formerly of Naugatuck.
Gary earned an accounting degree from Post University and began his career at Uniroyal
Chemical Company. He spent most of his professional life in the automotive paint industry.
Gary was a loyal supporter of UCONN women's basketball and was a devoted fan of his
Baltimore Orioles, particularly during the Ripkin years. He loved being around people
whether it was his adventures with Donna or the football games with April, the hockey
games with Heather and Darin or the baseball games with Bill. His love, compassion and
heart will be sorely missed.

Left to honor his legacy and memory besides his loving wife, Donna Dostaler Weaving, is
his family, April and Sean Garceau of Wolcott, Dawn and Eddie Dubinsky of Wolcott,
Heather Dostaler and Howard Levine of Plantsville, Darin Dostaler of Wolcott, Brandon
and Kristen Garceau, and their son, Caiden, of Bethlehem, Niki Garceau of Plainville and
Randy Dubinsky of Wolcott. He is also survived by his sister, Gayle and Bill Rinkavage of
South Carolina, his niece, Tiffany Jajack of South Carolina, his extended Doolittle family and
his beloved cat, Oliver.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Edmund Quinn and his staff, and all
of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Mary's Hospital and The Harold Leever Regional
Cancer Center for all of the care and compassion given to Gary.

Funeral services for Mr. Weaving will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at
Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury.
Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. Relatives and friends may visit with
Gary's family for a walk-through visitation only, on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. till the service at
12:30 p.m. All COVID #19 guidelines will be strictly enforced. To honor Gary's memory
and in lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the American
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or the Harold Leever Regional Cancer
Center are greatly appreciated.
