AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
Waterbury - Mrs. Genoveva Roman Carrillo age 74, of Geddes Terrace, Waterbury, died unexpectedly Friday, February 18, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Miguel Carrillo.

Mrs. Carrillo was born January 12th 1937 in Camuy, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Jose Roman and Leocadia (Gonzalez) Caban. She moved to New York City as a young child and moved to Water in 1965 where she her family. She returned to Puerto Rico in 1996 where she lived before returning to Waterbury after the passing of her husband in 2004. She enjoyed reading the bible, shopping, and walking but most importantly she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and family.

Among her survivors are her 4 sons, Miguel and his wife Yvette of Wesley Chapel Fl, David and his wife Katherine, Jaime, William and his wife Sara all of Waterbury and her daughter Gloria Carrillo also of Waterbury with whom she made her home. Genoveva also leaves two brothers and nine sisters as well as her eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 23rd at 9:15am from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St to Sacred Heart Sagrado-Corazon Church 13 Wolcott Street Waterbury for a mass of Christian burial at 10:00am. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00pm.
