WATERTOWN– George B. Norman, age 89 of Watertown passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family in the comfort of the home he loved on Wednesday November 15, 2023. He was the devoted husband of Patricia (Lockhart) Norman
George was born in Waterbury on December 29, 1933 in Waterbury the son of the late George and Agnes (Gerrillo) Norman He was a graduate of Crosby High School and Holy Cross College and then proudly served his country with the U.S. marine Corp as a 2nd Lieutenant . George was the founder of Norman Ltd Realty and opened multiple offices across the greater Waterbury area. He spent nearly 50 years as a real estate developer. George worked every day, right up until his passing and thoroughly loved what he did. He proudly instilled his strong work ethic in his children and grandchildren as his interest in family was always his primary importance. Most of all he loved family, his children, siblings and nieces and nephews and given a choice he would have preferred to be in the home he loved relaxing doing yard work. In return his family thanks George for always being the strong, stoic rock and foundation of the family.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, besides his wife are his children; son, Eric Norman, Daughter, Lisa Fricker and stepson, Jeff O’Neill George and Pat were blessed with 5 grandchildren; Matthew, Kyle and Joshua Norman and Shay and Kylie Oneill as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Norman will be held on Saturday November 18, 2023 when a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St John the Evangelist Church 725 Main St Watertown at 12 noon.
