WATERBURY - Gladys Esther Ferrer, 52, of Waterbury, CT, beloved daughter of Antonio M. Ferrer and Matilde Munoz, went to be home with the Lord on Saturday, May 4th, 2019.
Gladys was born in Waterbury, CT on Feb. 10th 1967. She was a devoted mother to Anthony J. Ferrer and Andrew J. Hernandez. Gladys graduated from Kennedy High School in 1985 and received an MSW from Springfield College in 2009. Gladys was a talented artist with passions for singing, dancing, drawing and crocheting. Her family was her pride and joy. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Besides her two sons and parents, she was survived by siblings; Antonio Ferrer and his wife, Vivian, Luis Ferrer and his wife, Carline, Angela Napiello and her husband, John, Liz Ferrer, Carlos Garcia, Evelyn Ferrer, Adrian Ferrer and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services for Ms. Ferrer will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ SOuthmayd Rd Waterbury to Sacred Heart/ Sagrado Corazon Church 13 Wolcott St to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Glady's family on Wednesday evening from 5:00 till 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
