THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF GYDAS A. KUMETA
WATERTOWN -- Gydas ("Gig") Antanas Kumeta (age 49) died peacefully at his home early Sunday morning, December 23, 2018.
He was the son of Mykolas and Roberta Kumeta, the proprietors of Mike's Guns and Tackle in Oakville for more than forty years. Gig was born on September 1, 1969 at Waterbury Hospital, attended Watertown High School, and lived in Watertown, CT for most of his life. He attended Waterbury State Technical College and worked extensively in the automotive servicing industry. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Roberta Kumeta, his brothers Mykolas ("Mick") Kumeta and Darius Kumeta, his sister Dana (Kumeta) Thramann and her husband Steven, his nephew Harrison Thramann, and his niece Julia Thramann.
Relatives and friends may visit with Gig's family on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville, CT 06779.
