WATERBURY -Mr. H. Donald McIsaac age 74, of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at his home, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, after a courageous battle with multiple Myeloma. He was the devoted husband of Lenore (Moritis) McIsaac.
Donald was born June 26th 1940 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late Harold and Genevieve (Nilan) McIsaac. He was a graduate of Crosby High School and proudly served as a US Coast Guard Reservist. He worked for ten years at Uniroyal before he was employed by Truelove and Mclean until his retirement. Donald loved to spend time with his wife and family including his two bassett hounds Harleigh and Annie. He was a devoted NY Giants and UCONN women's basketball fan.
Besides his wife Lenore of 53 years, Donald his survived by his two daughters, Paula Romanelli and her husband Robert of Watertown, and Shawn Theriault of Bethel. He is predeceased by his son-in-law, Jeffrey Theriault and his four brothers, Harold, Robert, Frank, and Martin McIsaac.
Funeral Services for Mr. McIsaac will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 11:00am at Eastside Memorial "A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center" 1987 East Main St. @ Southmayd Rd. in Waterbury. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Relatives and friends may visit with Donald's family on Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:00am until the time of the service at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations in Donald's memory may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation 383 Main Ave. 5th Flr Norwalk CT 06851.
