THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF HELEN COYLE
WATERBURY - Helen M. Coyle age 80 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Eugene Coyle.
Helen was born August 22, 1937 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Charles A. and Helen (Somers) Greider. She was a graduate of Crosby High School and dedicated herself to raising her family. Once her children were raised and in school, Helen returned to school and received her nursing degree and had worked for various nursing homes throughout the Waterbury area, retiring from Abbott Terrace Health Care Center. She enjoyed spending time outdoors especially at her friend's cabin in Maine. She also enjoyed taking long walks around her yard and visiting the beach during the fall. Helen loved animals and cherished the time she was able to spend with her family especially her grandchildren. Helen will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Among her survivors are her children, Kevin Coyle and his wife, Ginny of MT, Chris-Ellen Coyle of Waterbury, her brother, Charles Greider of Wallingford and her adored grandchildren; Dayna, Sarah, Sheena, Angela, Tessa, Kerry, Sean, Katie, Michael, Artie, Dominique, and Brian as well as her great grandchildren; Mabel, Ezrah, Elijah, Corban, and Colton. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Art LaVallee and daughter-in-law Janet (Carlin) Coyle and was predeceased by her sons; Brian K. Coyle and Eugene Coyle and her brothers, William Greider and Frederick Stager.
Funeral services for Mrs. Coyle will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and 1987 East Main St @Southmayd Rd Waterbury. Burial will follow in Old Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
