WOLCOTT- Mrs. Helen "Elena" Primus, age 92, of Wolcott, formerly of Waterbury, passed away at home on Sunday, February 16, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of William F. Delfino.
Helen was born November 9, 1921 in Waterbury the daughter of the late Crescenzo and Rose (Bove) Fascione. She was educated in local schools and was employed as a Supervisor in the Garment Industry in Waterbury for many years. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother and looked forward to her yearly trips to Myrtle Beach with her family to enjoy the beach. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She was a parishioner of SS Peter & Paul Church.
She is survived by her only daughter, Cynthia Shea and her husband, Richard, her sisters: Louise Denicola, Carmella Siconolfi and Susan Greco as well as her grandchildren, William Shea and his wife Kimberly, Stephanie Shea and her great granddaughter, Allie Shea.
Funeral services for Mrs. Primus will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from Eastside Memorial, "A Casey Family Funeral Home and Tribute Center" 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury to SS Peter & Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd. Waterbury to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Helen's family on Wednesday morning from 9:00 till 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Helen's memory may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society 34 Willow St Waterbury CT 06710.
