THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF HELEN MULLEN
WATERBURY Helen Mullen, age 87 of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Thursday December 3rd 2020 at Wolcott View Manor Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was the widow of Francis M. Mullen Jr..
Helen was born November 7th 1933 in Waterbury, Ct the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Moriarty) Boyles. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and was a chemical analyst for Uniroyal Chemical in Naugatuck for close to 50 years.
Left to cherish her memories and honor Helen love and legacy are her daughters Patricia Mullen of Waterbury with whom she made her home, and Laurie Cahill and her husband, Richard of Cheshire. She as predeceased by her 3 brothers and two sisters.
The Mullen family would like to thank and acknowledge the staff and care givers at Wolcott View Manor for the loving care and support they provided to Helen and her family during her stay. Additionally the Mullen family would like to thank Crystal Norman and Cheryl Dunn as well as all of Helen's aide's including Debbie and Kim for all their efforts and support.
Due to the current rise in Covid 19 infection Mrs. Mullen will be intered privately in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury at the convenience of the family. A memorial service in honor of Helen will be scheduled and announced later in 2021. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral home has been honored to care for Helen and her family during this difficult time. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations in honor of Helen's memory are encouraged to be made to your local food bank.
