THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF HELGA SCHUSTER.
OAKVILLE - Helga E. Schuster, 91, passed away peacefully in the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St. Mary's Hospital on the evening of Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was the widow of Jacob F. Schuster.
Helga was born in Lindenholzhausen, Germany on September 1929, the daughter of the late Karl and Justina (Heim) Plaul. She married her beloved Jacob in 1959. Helga became a U.S. Citizen and worked at Bond Tool for many years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, politics and trips to the casino but was always happiest when surrounded by her family. She missed her beloved Jacob immensely when he passed in 2017 but was determined to remain independent and stay at home until the very end. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know love her.
Helga is survived by her niece, Christina (Richard) Casey and many grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Maria Salisbury.
Funeral services for Mrs. Schuster will be private and held at the convenience of her family. She and Jacob will be interred together in the family plot at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been honored to assist the Schuster family during this difficult time. To honor Helga's memory, donations to MEOW Inc., P. O.
