THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF HORACE ANDERSON.
WATERBURY - Horace Anderson Sr. of Waterbury, formerly of Kingston, Jamaica, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side. He was the husband of Khalawti Anderson.
Horace was born in Kingston Jamaica the son of the late Rufus Alexander and Adella Anderson. He was educated in Jamaica and earned his Masters Degree in Science in the United States. He was employed for many years as a Union Representative for UAW #2179. He was active in many local labor organizations. Horace had a wonderful sense of humor, despite his illnesses and crosses in life, he was always able to smile and have a wonderful Christain outlook on life. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Horace Anderson Jr of NJ, his daughters, Vanessa of New York City and Jennifer of Maryland, his grandchildren, Eli, Jacob, Chloe, Aiden, Brandon and Marissa and his siblings, Lisa Henry, Pearl Anderson, Ranford, Owens and Leacroft Anderson of Jamaica and Allan Anderson of England.
Relatives and friends may visit with Horace's family on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home at 1987 East Main St. @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT 06705. A prayer service will be held on both evenings. Burial will be held in his family plot in Kingston Jamaica.
