AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - WATERBURY - Mrs. Isgouhi M. Kodjaian, age79, of 348 Peach Orchard Rd, widow of Zohrab Kodjaian, died Tuesday at Cheshire House Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Kodjaian was born October 15, 1932 in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Movses and Anna Kodjaian and had been a Waterbury resident for the past 12 years. Isgouhi, a trained chef in Lebanon, loved cooking for her family and had the honor of cooking for Former Lebanese President Ameen Jemayel. She was a woman of strong faith who attended Church regularly and she loved to pray. She spoke five languages and enjoyed reading every day.
Mrs. Kodjaian is survived by 2 daughters, Ermione Hagopian of No. Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA and Pagahona Hamawi and her husband Shaheen of Waterbury, 2-grandsons Gabriel and Rafael Hamawi both of Waterbury and 2-brothers, 3-sisters and several nieces and nephews in Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 8:00am from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St. Waterbury, to SS Peter and Paul Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to SS Peter & Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd, Waterbury CT 06705.
