THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF JAMES DADDONA
WATERBURY - James "Jim" Paul Daddona, age 47 of Waterbury, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on February 1, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital. Jim was the husband of Mariaezel Daddona and the son of Barbara "Stack" Daddona and the late Domenic (Shine) Daddona Jr.
Jim was born May 1, 1970 in Waterbury and graduated from Kaynor Tech and earned his living as a licensed plumber. Jim enjoyed life and was always ready to share a joke or offer advice. He enjoyed camping, vacationing and especially Caribbean cruising with family and friends. Jim also enjoyed fishing, playing softball and rooting for his favorite teams; Yankees, Patriots, Celtics and the UConn Huskies with his dogs by his side. He was always the life of any party. Above all Jim loved his family and was proud to be the youngest of eight children.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Angel and his wife, Tiffany Agron along with Aubrey, his granddaughter, who was the sunshine of his life. Jim was proud to be a part of a large family and will be missed by his brothers; Richard (Mary) Daddona and Thomas(Lynn) Daddona; and sisters; Rosanne and Cheryl Daddona, Barbara (Pat) Walsh and Maryann (Vinnie) McKay. His mother and father-in-law, Gloria and Pedro Gonzalez, sisters-in-law, Mayda Gonzalez, Nancy (Marko) Salazar, and brothers-in-law, Eddie and Rafi Gonzalez. Additionally, Jim will be missed by his 18 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. Jim was pre-deceased by his beloved brother, Domenic Daddona III.
A celebration of James' life will be held at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT 06705 on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5pm-7pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Saints Peter and Paul Church 56 Southmayd Rd when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Committal services will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury.
