OAKVILLE, CT - Mr. James Stanley Donahue Jr. age 20 of Oakville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 4, 2015 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the son of James Stanley Sr. and Robin (Finlay) Donahue of Oakville.
James was born September 14, 1994 in Waterbury CT. He was a graduate of Kaynor Tech High School where he studied electronics and recently graduated from Porter and Chester Institute with a certificate in Computer and Network Technology. While attending school, James worked part time alongside his Dad at The Bilco Company in West Haven. He also was employed by Altek in Torrington and Oliver's Market in Prospect. James had just recently accepted a position at EMC Corporation as an IT Support Technician. James loved to spend time outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. He was an avid NY Yankees fan, a movie buff and also enjoyed body building. During the summer he could usually be found riding around in his Jeep with the doors off and top down.
Besides his parents, James and Robin, he is survived by his brother, Jesse James Donahue and his wife Lisa of Watertown, his sister, Randi Zanesky and her husband B.J. of Watertown, his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Finlay, his paternal grandparents, Donald and Joan Donahue, his nieces Willa Rose Zanesky and Grace Anne Donahue as well as his soon to be niece, Stella James Zanesky and his beloved four legged companion Chloe as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and close friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Donahue will be held on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 9:00 am at Saints Peter and Paul Church 65 Southmayd Rd Waterbury, CT. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may visit with James' family on Friday evening from 4:00 ~ 7:00 pm at Eastside Memorial "A CASEY FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND TRIBUTE CENTER" 40 Southmayd Rd. Waterbury.
