Loving Son, Brother, Grandson, and Nephew

WOLCOTT– It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of James T. “Jimmy” Laliberte announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at his home.  

Jimmy was born in Waterbury on April 20^th, 1998, the son of Daniel and Cheryl (Mulcahey) Laliberte.  Jimmy was a graduate of Woodland Regional High School class of 2016 and held various jobs throughout the area, including forklift operator, Barista, and most recently, a server at Dotties Restaurant. 

Jimmy loved music, especially hardcore, and took every opportunity to attend a concert. He had a passion for photography and was a talented artist as well. Jimmy was exceptional in almost every way, but he excelled the most at being a devoted son, brother, grandson, and nephew. He was fiercely loyal to his family with an unending capacity for love and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.  

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, besides his parents of Wolcott, he leaves his two sisters Kristen Laliberte of Prospect and Karly Laliberte of Wolcott.  He also leaves his Paternal Grandmother Jeannette Laliberte of Middlebury, his uncle Steve Laliberte and his Fiance Diane of Wolcott, in addition to many close friends and 9 cousins.  He is predeceased by his Maternal grandparents Mr & Mrs. Thomas J. and Nancy (Brundage)  Mulcahey. 

Funeral services for Mr. Laliberte will held on Sunday, April 28. 2024 at 1:00 pm at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT.  Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.  Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jimmy’s family on Sunday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 1:00 pm.
