AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - Waterbury James M. Geary Sr., age 59, of Wildemere Ave Waterbury, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was the husband of Patricia (Killeen) Geary.
Jim was born September 14, 1951 in Waterbury the son of the late Matthew A. Geary Sr. and Anne (Brennan) Geary. He was a graduate of Crosby High School and was a member of the CT National Guard. He was employed for many years as the Inventory Control Manager at Napco in Terryville. Jim was a devoted husband, father and friend and was never hesitant to lend a helping hand to anyone. He will be forever missed and always remembered. Jim was a parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception
Besides his loving wife of 30 years, Jim leaves his sons; James M. Geary Jr. and Ryan J. Geary both of Waterbury, his 3 brothers, Matty, Jack and Joseph Geary all of Waterbury, his two sisters, Nancy Bandurski of Cheshire and Trisha Geary of Waterbury and many, nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Geary will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011at 9:00am from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home, 1581 East Main St Waterbury to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main ST Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, March 21, 2011 from 4 - 7pm. Memorial donations in Mr. Geary's memory may be made to St. Mary's Hospital, 56 Franklin St Waterbury CT 06706 or to St. Mary's Grammar School, 43 Cole St Waterbury CT 06706.
