WATERBURY - Janet Lee Michaud age 51 of Waterbury CT, passed away peacefully at home on Friday May 24th 2019 surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Shane M. Michaud
Janet was born July 31st 1967 in Meriden, CT, the daughter of the late Lawrence Murphy and Catherine (Weakland) Murphy of Oakville. She was raised in Oakville, where she attended local grammar schools and graduated from Sacred Heart High School and was a licensed CNA. A dedicated wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend, Janet will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Besides her mother, Catherine and her husband of 26 years, Shane, leaves her children, Shane Patrick, Ashely, and Jenny. She also leaves behind her 4 grandchildren, her brothers, David, Kevin, and Larry, as well as her sisters Arlene, and Kathleen in addition to several, aunts, uncles, cousins and several other extended family members and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Michaud will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. There are no callings hours.
