Janice F. Sholley
WOLCOTT- Mrs. Janice F. (Bedard) Sholley, age 65, of Spindle Hill Rd. Wolcott, died Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital with her loving family at her side after a brief but valiant battle with cancer.
Janice was born in Lebanon Pennsylvania on January 25, 1943, the daughter of Lydia (Yeingst) Sholley and the late Paul Sholley. She was educated in Pennsylvania and was employed as a Secretary at Structural Steel Works of Wolcott for many years. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always putting her family above all else and loved and lived life to the fullest.
Besides her mother of Pennsylvania, Janice leaves her son, Jeff Bedard of Newport RI, her daughter Jodi Bock of Wolcott with whom she made her home, a stepson Gary Bedard of Berlin CT two stepdaughters, Margaret Lavalle of NY and JoAnn Bedard of Naugatuck, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews
Funeral services for Mrs. Sholley will be held on Tuesday evening at 7pm at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home, 1581 East Main Street, Waterbury. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-7pm. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, 1075 Chase Parkway Waterbury CT 06708.
