WATERBURY Jason L. Ortega 23, of 1270 Baldwin St. Waterbury, died Saturday, May 10, 2008 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Jason was born in New York City on June 29, 1984, the son of Jason L Ortega and Soledad (Fana) Tejada. He was a graduate of Kennedy High School in Waterbury and had been employed for the past three years at Costco in Waterbury as a front end assistant. He enjoyed life to the fullest but took his responsibilities as an older brother very seriously. Caring for his Mom and sister was always his priority in life. He was a respectful and humble young man who will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
Besides his mother and father, Jason leaves his sister, Yessenia S. Ortega of Waterbury, two close and very special friends, Isaias Campos and Louis Ruiz, both of Waterbury and three cousins, Wilkins Ortega, Mariela Ortega and Eddie Ortega all of New York.
Funeral services for Jason will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main Street Waterbury. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 5-9pm. Burial will be held in St. Raymond's Cemetery, New York on Thursday.
