AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME ?" Jason E. Semeraro, age 38 of Buckingham Street died unexpectedly on Monday at Waterbury Hospital.
Jason was born September 29, 1970 in Waterbury, a son of William J. and the late Dolores (Rio) Semeraro and was a lifelong Oakville and Watertown resident. He was a graduate of Watertown High School Class of 1992. Jason was currently employed in maintenance at Easter Seals in Waterbury. He was very active in the Special Olympics, loved country music, Easter Seals camping trips, watching Western movies and spending time with his dad, whether it was crusing in an old car, riding on the back of dad's motorcycle or going to car shows.
He leaves his father William J. Semeraro and his companion Jacqueline Hoffman of Oakville and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents John and Mary (Popovich) Semeraro and his maternal grandparents Domenic and Beryl (Houlihan) Rio.
Friends may call at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street on Saturday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery will be held at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Watertown Area Association of Special Citizens, c/o Rocco Calabrese 1591 Litchfield Rd., Watertown, CT 06795.
