WATERBURY - Mrs. Jean (Gilson) Greatorex, age 85 of Waterbury passed away peacefully at hone with her family by her side. She was the widow of Ricahrd Greatorex. .
Mrs. Greatorex was born on April 6, 1934 in Port Jervis NY the daughter of the late Emerson and Marie (Ryerson) Gilson. She was educated in Pennsylvania and worked for many years for Dunkin Donuts where she made many friends and served thousands of customers. Jean loved to write poetry and enjoyed spending time at the beach, especially the west coast of Florida. Jean will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. .
Left to remember, cherish and honor Jean's love and legacy are her daughter, Kimberly Mancini and her husband, Pasquale with whom Jean made her home, her grandchildren, Jacquelyn of Waterbury and Jonathan, USMC stationed in Okinawa Japan. She also leaves her sisters-in-law, Barbara Greatorex and Carol Greatorex as well as her many friends,
Funeral services for Mrs. Greatorex will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
