OAKVILLE - Jeffrey F. Brown age 65 of Lilac Ave. died October 21, 2013. He was the husband of Betsy J. (Theriault) Brown.
Jeffrey was born May 24, 1948 in Waterbury and lived in Middlebury most of his life. Son of the late Kenneth and Nancy (Barlow) Brown, he was a graduate of the former Woodbury High School and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut. He graduated from the University of New Haven with a Master's Degree in Business Administration. He was employed as a material planner at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford where he worked for many years. Jeffrey was an avid fan of UCONN Men's Basketball and the New York Yankees. He was a communicant of St. John's Episcopal Church.
Besides his wife Betsy of 26 years he leaves a son, Jeffrey B. Brown of Cromwell, a daughter Emily Brown of New Britain, two brothers William Brown and his wife Rosemary of Middlebury and Michael Brown of Waterbury along with several nieces and nephews and a grand-nephew.
A graveside service for Jeffrey will be held on Saturday October 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery in Watertown. Friends and family may visit with Jeffrey's family on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to UCONN Athletic Development Fund 2111 Hillside Road, Unit 3078 Storrs, CT 06269-3078.
