Jeffrey Testa

August 16, 1980 — January 7, 2022

THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF JEFFREY TESTA.

PALM BAY FL - Jeffrey A. Testa of Palm Bay, formerly of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly on January 7,2022.

Jeff was born on August 16,1980 in Waterbury CT., the second of three brothers. Jeff was a lifelong resident of the Watertown/Waterbury area, but for the last seven months he had been living in Palm Bay, Florida. Jeff graduated from Watertown High School in 1998, and subsequently graduated from the Porter & Chester Institute with a degree in Auto Mechanics in 2005. Anyone who knew Jeff knew that his pride and joy in life was his son Gianni. Everything Jeff did was for Gianni, and any free moment he had with Gianni would be spent playing GTA or other video games, playing Nerf-Gun battles, swimming, working on cars together, fishing, or just sitting and talking. Jeff and Gianni were extremely close as fathers and sons should be - Jeff was Gianni's Superman and he absolutely adored his son. Jeff and Briana had become close during the last year and were planning a future with Gianni. Jeff was a loving son who was close to his mother Shelley, always there when she needed him and always making her proud. Jeff and his brothers were the definition of brotherly love - they were always together during the family's fondest memories, and Jeff was always in the middle when the three were up to mischievous fun. This special bond that the brothers shared was taught in large part by their Gram Sylvia, whom Jeff loved dearly. She taught the boys that there is nothing stronger than family, and that is why these brothers were so important in each other's lives. Jeff was also a true and trusted friend to many. Whether friends from childhood or friends from more recent times, he loved all of his friends dearly, and would do anything for them. He cherished the moments he was able to spend with his friends, and they were always considered part of our family. Jeff loved his friends, and they loved him, as they have overwhelmingly shown with all of their support and kindness during this terrible time. One thing all of Jeff's friends knew is that he loved his N.Y. Giants. Football was Jeff's favorite sport, and the Giants were his team, and he had created another Giants fan in Gianni. Jeff was looking forward to Gianni playing Pop Warner Football as Jeff had done as a child, and the two would watch football on Sundays where Jeff would explain the game to his son and explain that the Giants were the best. Everyone will always remember Jeff as a die-hard Giants fan.
Jeff Testa was an organ donor, and his last act on Earth was to donate parts of himself so that other's might live. Because of his donation, he helped to save the lives of four other people. He was Superman until the end. Jeff Testa was a kind, caring, compassionate man, who will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Jeff will live on through his son Gianni, with whom he spent many precious years and who he taught many precious things. A father, a son, a brother, a friend, Jeff Testa will never be forgotten.

Jeff was predeceased by his grandmother, Sylvia Woodward, his grandfather, Douglas Woodward, and his father Albert Testa. Jeff is survived by his mother and step-father, Shelley and José López, as well by his older brother Michael Testa and his wife Kari, whom Jeff considered as a sister. Jeff is also survived by his younger brother Albert Testa, who along with Mike loved their brother dearly, as he did them. Jeff is also survived by his son Gianni Testa, and Gianni's mother Briana Giroux, with whom Jeff had shared a close relationship over the years and he will rest in peace knowing he had chosen a wonderful mother to his son. Jeff is also survived by Briana's parents Ed and Sandy LaBonte, whom Jeff considered to be close family, as well as Myriam López, step- grandmother.
