THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF JENNIE L. NARDOZZI
ST PETERESBERG, FL - Jennie L. Nardozzi age 74 formerly of Waterbury passed away peacefully on September 18th 2021 at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Saint Petersburg, Florida after a brief illness.
Jennie was born in Waterbury, CT on September 22, 1946 the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Root) DeLeo. She attended Croft High School and spent many years as the office manager at Waterbury Dermatology Associates. Before moving to Florida Jennie was an active parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception where she was a member of the choir and had the opportunity to travel to Italy where she performed for the Pope.
Jennie's greatest joy was her loved and adored grandchildren. She was always happiest while spending time with them, her family and her friends.
Among her survivors are her son Scott Nardozzi of Cobalt, Ct her daughters Stacey Nardozzi of Watertown, and Shelley Ireland of Cheshire. In addition, she leaves her brother Anthony DeLeo Jr of N.C and her sisters Tina Ramsburg of St. Petersburg, Christine Soboleski of Orlando, and Ann DiBenedito of Thomaston as well as her beloved grandchildren Liam and Chase Ireland as well as many close friends and other extended family members. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services for Ms. Nardozzi will on Friday October 1st 2021 at 10:00am 10:00am at the Basilica of The Immaculate Conception 74 West Main St Waterbury, those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Jennie's family on Thursday September 30th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Center 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705 We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.
