Jimmy Terrell Ferguson, lovingly known to family and friends as "Tonkey, 45, went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2020.
Jimmie "Tonkey" was born on May 9, 1975 in Washington, DC and resided in Terryville, CT.
Tonkey attended the Waterbury Public School System and also received training at Job Corp. He worked as a cable installation technician, truck driver and also did factory work. Tonkey was an active member of Community Tabernacle Outreach Center, Waterbury, CT.
He is survived by his mother Shirley Ferguson, Waterbury, CT; three children, Keyton, Kalysie and Kaiyla by his ex-wife Melissa "Missy" Ferguson of Waterbury, CT; three sisters, Renee Ferguson, Waterbury, CT, Laurie and Debbie Turner of Washington, DC and a brother, Karl Waterbury, CT. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends along with his girlfriend, Shauna Watlington and her children.
He is preceded in death by his father, Karl Turner and his maternal grandfather, Milton Z. Anthony.
