OAKVILLE – Joanne H. Pannone age 83 of Oakville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2022, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was the beloved wife of John Pannone
Joanne was born on June 30, 1939, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Rosa Rosso) Marchetti. Joanne graduated from Waterbury Catholic High School and Good Counsel College in New York where she earned her teaching degree. She taught English at Watertown High School before transferring to Kaynor Tech High School where she started as a gym teacher then taught reading and English. She then became Assistant Principal where she stayed until retirement. She was a member of the Watertown Board of Education and started the Adult Education Training Program at Kaynor Tech.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory besides her husband John of 60 years she leaves her two daughters, Gina Lussier and Johnna (Charles) Neurakis. She also leaves her six grandchildren, Jordan, Cody and Brianna Lussier, and Noah, Nicole, and Megan Neurakis. As well as her two great-grandchildren, Graciella and Troy Lussier. Joanne was predeceased by her brother Louis Marchetti.
