Waterbury - John (Johnnie) D. Cianciolo Jr., age 53, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at his home after a brief illness on Monday, August 4th 2014.
Johnnie was born May 18th 1961 in Waterbury the son of the late John Sr. and Lorraine (Ciriello) Cianciolo of Waterbury. He grew up in Waterbury and was a graduate of Crosby High School and attended Mattatuck Community College. John has spent several years working for All Star Transportation as a school bus driver in the greater Waterbury area. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing computer games and chatting on-line with friends and family.
Among his survivors are his brother, Kevin Cianciolo of Waterbury, which whom he shared his home. As well as many cousins and friends including his longtime friend Joe Levesque, and his daughters Jocelyn, and Alexis.
Funeral services for Mr. Cianciolo will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Francis Xavier Church 625 Baldwin St Waterbury at 9:30am. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
