Devoted to his faith and family

WATERBURY - John Crowe, age 67, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family at the Vitas Inpatient Unit of St Marys Hospital, after an extended illness.

John was born on March 19, 1956, the son of the late John Sr and Lucille (Pace) Crowe. He attended St. Lucys School and Crosby High School and worked for many years as a licensed HVAC Technician, most recently working for Cipriano Inc. John was an avid sports fan especially basketball and he played softball well into his adult years. He loved his pets and loved his family even more. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his brother, Peter Crowe, his nieces; Jody Rosa and her husband, Christopher and Jacqueline Downs and her husband, Shane, his sister-in-law, Rosemary Ryan and her husband, Jack, his uncle, the Rev Paul Pace of Waterbury and several cousins and extended family members and close friends. The family wishes to acknowledge his cousin, Mary Ann Perri for the constant care and unwavering support of John, especially through his illness. Her love and dedication will never be forgotten.

Funeral services Mr. Crowe will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St Francis Xavier Church, 625 Baldwin St., Waterbury, when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by his uncle. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
