John "Jack" Delevieleuse

August 14, 1933 — February 24, 2013

Cheshire - John "Jack" F. Delevieleuse of Summit Rd Cheshire, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 24, 2013 after an extended illness. He was the husband of Ann Marie (Picard) Delevieleuse.

Mr Delevieleuse was born August 14th 1933 in Waterbury, CT., the son of the late George Delevieleuse and Eileen (Murphy) Habelka. He was raised in the Cheshire area where he attended local schools and graduated from Leavenworth High School in Waterbury, prior to joining the US Air Force, where he proudly served his country during the Korean War Conflict. Jack was a gifted handyman who enjoyed doing various construction projects and was a maintenance worker at Foam Plastics for many years until his retirement. He also worked at Blackies Hot Dog Restaurant for over 57 years. After retirement Jack enjoyed golfing, taking trips to Florida and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Besides his wife Ann Marie of 56 years, Jack is survived by his five sons, James of Cheshire, Steven of Waterbury, Robert of Cheshire, Kenneth and his wife Gina of Fort Myers Fl, Gary and his wife Kim of Waterbury, and their two children, Nicholas and Mina. He was predeceased by his sister, Corinne Everet


Funeral services for Mr. Delevieleuse will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 11:00am at EASTSIDE MEMORIAL, "A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd.Waterbury CT. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Delevieleuse memory may be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 199 Park Rd Ext. Middlebury CT 06762.
