CHESHIRE - Mr. John "Jack" Vincent Deschino age 63, of Cheshire, formerly of Waterbury, passed away on Friday November 1st 2013 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness. He was the beloved husband of Grace (Lokis) Deschino
John was born November 22, 1949 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Vincent and Mary (Giancarli) Deschino. He was a graduate of Crosby High School and attended Post University. He worked as a purchasing agent for various manufacturing companies in the area including Truelove & Maclean Inc and more recently at Ward Leonard Electric prior to his illness.
John was an accomplished golfer and enjoyed traveling anywhere to enjoy a game of golf. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and when he wasn't golfing he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Besides his beloved wife Grace of 41 years, John is survived by his sons; David Deschino and his wife Michele, Greg Deschino and his wife Lisa of Cheshire, his brother, Todd Deschino of Naugatuck, and his grandchildren Nicholas and Matthew Deschino, Jon Paul and Michael Handy, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and two nieces and a nephew
Funeral Services for Mr. Deschino will be held on Tuesday November 5, 2013 at 9:15 am from EASTSIDE MEMORIAL "A CASEY FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND TRIBUTE CENTER" 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT 06705 to Saint Patrick's Church 50 Charles St to celebrate the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00a.m. Rites of committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery Waterbury. Friends and relatives may visit with John's family on Monday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 ~ 7:00pm. Memorial donations in John's memory can be made to the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center 1075 Chase Parkway Waterbury, CT 06708.
