His long career and dedication to public safety was matched only by his dedication to his family. Over many years he spent the summers creating unforgettable memories while camping with his sister in law Christa and her husband Richard Casey, his nieces and nephew and his daughters. John enjoyed each and every day to the fullest and was a man of great faith. A dedicated husband, father, son, brother and friend, John will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his love and memory, besides his wife Patricia of 7 years and his parents, are his daughters; Jennifer Reynolds and her husband, Brian and their daughter, Emma of Naugatuck, and Stephanie Flynn and her husband, Brian and their son, Callan of East Hampton, CT.
