WATERBURY- John Baptiste Forino age 69 of Waterbury, passed away on Tuesday, November 20th 2018 after a brief illness.
John was born October 18, 1949 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late Vincent and Frances (Noreikis) Forino. He was a graduate of Crosby High School and attended the University of Hartford. He was an avid UConn Huskey, New York Mets, and Crosby High basketball supporter. He was an accomplished athlete in his youth. He was adored by his nieces and nephews who always looked forward to and cherished their time together. He will be dearly missed by them and all who were blessed to know and love him.
Among his survivors are his siblings' Domenic Forino and his wife, Claire of Waterbury, Vincent Forino and his late wife, Beth Ann, of Waterbury, his sisters, Frances and Antoinette Forino both of Cheshire, Debra Allegrini of Waterbury and Cheryl Ferrara and her late husband, Joseph also of Watertown. He also leaves behind his adored nieces and nephews, Domenic, Dana, David, Thomas, Michael, Jason, Dylan, Shelby, and Lisa, as well as his great nieces and nephews Carissa, Mia, Jonathan, Grace, Alexa, Vincent and Mason. He is predeceased by his niece, Claire Forino.
Funeral Services for Mr. Forino will be held on Monday, November 26th 2018 at 10:30 a.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St @Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT 06705 to Saints Peter and Paul Church when a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with John's family on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. till departure for services at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
