John F. Griffin

AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - Waterbury CT Mr. John F. Griffin Jr. age 90, of 2171 East Main St Waterbury, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Germain (Gagne) Griffin.

Mr. Griffin was born June 12, 1920 in Waterbury, the son of the late John F. Griffin Sr. and Gertrude (Cooper) Griffin. He resided for a short time in Woodbury but spent the majority of his life in Waterbury. Mr Griffin was a veteran of the US Army having proudly served his country during World War II. He was a foreman for the Chase Brass and Copper Co. retiring after decades of service there.

Besides his wife, Mr Griffin is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Griffin will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
