John H. Seery

SOUTHBURY- Mr. John "Jack" H. Seery, age 65, of Heritage Village, Southbury, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 9, 2013. He was the husband of Susan (Tucker) Seery.

Jack was born on January 26, 1948, the son of the late Margaret (Heaney) Seery Sechow . He was raised in Waterbury and was a graduate of Croft High School. Jack was a veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a career welder working for many construction companies throughout the State of Connecticut.

Besides his wife Sue of 31 years, Jack is survived by his sons, David Dietz of Waterbury, Derek Dietz of Southington, and Damon Dietz of Newtown, his sisters Susan Robertson and her husband James of Mooresville, NC, and Diane Thibodeau and her husband William of Waterbury, his brothers Christopher Sechow and his wife Jennifer of Woodbury and Stephen Sechow and his wife Debra of Thomaston, one grandson, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, M. Denise Seery.

Funeral services for Mr. Seery will be held on Friday March 15th at 6:00 p.m. at EASTSIDE MEMORIAL " A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center," 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the service a 6pm. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in memory of Jack can be made to the charity of the donors choice.
