THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF JOHN A. VAN HARE
BLOOMFIELD - John Andrew VanHare, age 59 of Bloomfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 13, 2018. He was the husband of Carmel (Stone) VanHare.
Mr. Van Hare was born on November 24, 1958 in Stamford CT, the son of the late George and Marjorie (Ross) VanHare. He was educated in local schools and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed by the Torrington Companies, RBC Company and most recently was the owner of J & J Development. John was a loving, caring husband, father and son who was always the first to volunteer to help anyone. He was the rock of the family and a very vocal advocate for his son. He loved his family first and foremost. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Besides his wife of 28 years, he leaves his son, Joshua Andrew VanHare, his siblings, George VanHare and his wife, Michelle, David and his wife, Barbara and Mary Klett and her husband, David as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial for Mr. VanHare will be celebrated on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Saint Timothy, 225 King Phillip Dr. West Hartford CT 06117. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. To honor John's memory, donations may be made to Special Olympics of West Hartford, PO Box 271317 West Hartford CT 06127.
