Oakville - It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of John B. Williamson Jr., age 61, share the news of his peaceful passing on Friday, October 18, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Cynthia (Raslavsky) Williamson.
John was born on June 5, 1963 in New Haven, CT, the son of the late John and Grace (Scotti) Williamson Sr. He attended local schools and went on to work as a master mechanic at Tasca Ford. John was an avid sports fan, sharing this passion with his family, and could be found always cheering on the Miami Hurricanes and Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed monster RC cars, his 3 track train setup, and more recently drones. John took pride in his custom built computers. His love for music led him to build his own sound system to ensure the quality, tone as well as volume would rock the house. He was well known in the community for repairing cars on the sidelines including area first responders. John was loved by many friends who were always greeted by him with a HOW YA DOIN. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his memory and cherish his memory beside his devoted wife are his children, Andrew (Danielle) Williamson, Elizabeth Williamson, and daughter in law Jennifer Williamson, his beloved grandchildren; Willow, and Tiffany. He also leaves his siblings; Patricia (John Tamagna) DiStefano, Grace Williamson, and James (Dawn) Williamson. As well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
