WATEBURY Jose Caraballo age 40 of East Main St passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday December 17th 2013.
Jose was born June 10, 1973 in Yauco, Puerto Rico the son of Paula Caraballo of Waterbury, and the late Julio Caraballo. He grew up in Puerto Rico and attended local schools before moving to the U.S. in the early 1990's. Jose was the owner and operator of the El Viejito Restaurant on Baldwin St in Waterbury. He will be remembered for his generosity, hard working ethics, and his willingness to always help others in need. Though he left early he will always remain in our hearts forever.
Besides his mother Paula, Jose is survived by his five children Jose Manuel, Jasmine, Edgar, Brandon, and Solniel. His nine siblings Maria Nelly, Evelyn, Gladys, Mildred, Irma, Janet, Jaime, Ricardo, and Miriam. As well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Calling hours for Mr. Caraballo will be held on Friday December 20, 2013 from 6:00 ~ 9:00 pm with a service of remembrance to be held at 7:30pm. at Eastside Memorial," A CASEY FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND TRIBUTE CENTER", 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Relatives and friends may also visit with Jose's family on Saturday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury.
